We have an innate desire to identify ourselves with something larger than ourselves - our cell phone or computer company, our political party, our branch of the military, our sports team, our school, etc. But how many of the things you identify yourself with actually determine the type of person you are and make you a better person? Usually the type of person you are comes first and your identity second. God, however, gives us an identity that truly determines who we are and makes us better people. Our God-given identity has a direct bearing on our God-glorifying activity.
